Obviously because it is a journal and it is mine for that matter, it's a bit crazy.. And this one is about hairdressers as it's always a traumatising experience for me to get my haircut and hairdressers seem to hate me, and hate my hair which has always left me feeling very upset! so this is a humourous way with dealing with my phobia! (and also im getting my own back for being told i will go bald!! lol)

Anyway here are just a couple of pics of my new studio. The best one ive ever had, loads of space!

 

 

I have finally opened an etsy store! I opened it the other day and i'm already doing well.

At the moment I am selling Prints and a couple of originals, but when I get time I will be putting up bookmarks and keyrings! Check it out
 

 

New painting! This one is a Magic Mushroom Pixie. I made a video for this on youtube, but I probably won't be making anymore because they take so long to make and render and and I don't know how it is that some people get 200,000 views for uploading a fart or the equivelant...
 

Hey. I have updated my zazzle store after making another sale, so I have added more badges and keyrings to my shop seeing as they seem to sell rather well!
I have also made a video for youtube which includes bits and bobs from this summer and a few paintings, it's a bit random really, but watch it and let me know what you think!

I'm also working on a new painting and will be making a video for that too!

Hey everyone
I finished a new painting. This time a faery seeing as I haven't done one in a while. I decided to leave out the background for a change and keep it nice and simple. I am working ona pixie at the moment and I am filming different stages to make another youtube video, so that should be good!

Anyway I am off to make my tea as I am going to see Harry Potter tonight!

New painting again. This one is a magician! I'm really pleased with this one, it may even be may fave. I'm starting a faery painting this afternoon seeing as I haven't done one in a while.

 
I also updated my website today as I got a bit behind adding new paintings to my gallery, so that took me a couple of hours. Please check it out
I need some more ideas of how to get traffic to my site as at the moment I am only getting 1-3 visits per day. I've signed up to everything I can think of, but can't seem to get that boost....

Hey, finally got an update with a new painting!

I also updated my zazzle store yesterday with some new products. I was really pleased that my ace of spades tote bag got a todays best award (or whatever you call it) and also top 10 most viewed bag award. I personally was going to delete it but I got so many good comments so I figured I must just have bad taste, ha. You can see it here. So yeah that was good.

I also updated my elfwood with all my new stuff. I haven't updated it in a few months because they kept rejecting my work, but with the new rules being more reasonable, my stuff actually got published this time....

Hey peoples!
Here is a new painting I finished. It's sort of a new style I have been progressing towards and it seems to be evolving. I'm nit sure what I make of it yet or whether or not I should sack the whole idea! It obviously needs perfecting and I hope that happens in my next few paintings.


Sometimes a painting looks as good digitally as it does in it's original form, some look better on the computer, but this painting looks SO much better on canvas. It's quite a large painting and I don't think the computer gives it justice, but ah well. Let me kow what you think!

Mermaid Desire

Here it is at last, it was well worth the hassle. I really wanted to try hard at this one and make my work less 2d, I tried to eliminate the bold black lines as much as possible and I think it's kinda working!
I am also really excited becaise I have a new domain! my website is now at www.faerysayles.com thanks to April who informed everyone on Fae forum about the sale on at dreamhost I only paid £6.50 for the whole year when it should be £84!! what a bargain!!! I am so pleased as I have been looking for a host a while now!

New painting everyone!
This one was inspied after watching a foreign film set in columbia. It was called Maria full of Grace. I never set out to do anything particular in this painting, i didn't even use a refference which I usually always have to have. So I am quite happy with what came out :)

Hey everyone! Here is my latest Canvas painting, I am quite pleased with this one, but i'm disapointed that the scanner didn't pick up all the details, it looks a tad blurry but theres nothing I can do about that!
Hope you like the title!

I was thinking about possibly starting up an ebay store soon, but i'm still a bit scared! I don't have a clue about these things.
Also yesterday whilst I was a bit tipsy I accidently signed up for a faery festival in Kent for my own stall for £100. I nearly died today when I got an email request for payment OOPS. For anyone who doesn't know where Kent is, it's nowhere near me and I haven't got a car. Anyway I told them I was drunk and made a mistake, as I am definatly not prepared for anything like that just yet!

 
Here is my latest painting! Not sure what to call it yet but will have a think. My stupid scanner was doing my head in, mostly it was the scanner software, so annoying but I got there in the end. I think the background looks a bit blurry but I'm not sure why that is, maybe it's just the way I painted it. Anyway I will have to think of what to paint next...

Started a new painting. My first acrylic on canvas in years. I'm quite enjoying it, but I think it might take me a while to finish it as I get used to using different paint. Can't wait to see it finished so I can move onto the next one. I am going to be doing a series of clowns and suits from decks, so should be fun.
